4. License Declaration
When uploading content, you must select one of the following license categories:
Public Domain
The work is in the public domain (copyright expired, or never copyrighted). This applies to most traditional hymns written before 1929. By selecting this, you affirm the work's public domain status to the best of your knowledge.
Creative Commons
You are licensing your work under a Creative Commons license. You must select the specific CC license (CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC BY-NC, or CC0). You must be the creator or have authorization from the creator to apply this license.
Original Work
You created this work and hold all rights to it. You are granting WorshipTruth a non-exclusive license to display and distribute the work on our platform. You retain your copyright and may distribute the work elsewhere.
5. Rights Affirmation
By uploading content, you affirm that:

- The content does not infringe on any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- You accept responsibility for any claims arising from your uploaded content
- You have properly attributed all creators and sources where applicable
- The content is appropriate for a worship music platform and does not contain offensive, defamatory, or illegal material
6. Review Process
All uploaded content enters a moderation queue. Our team reviews uploads for:
- Copyright compliance: Verifying the content matches the declared license
- Quality: Ensuring content is complete, accurate, and useful
- Appropriateness: Confirming content aligns with our worship music mission
- Doctrinal concerns: Flagging any theological issues for analyst review
Uploads are typically reviewed within 72 hours. You will be notified if your upload is approved or if additional information is needed. We reserve the right to reject any upload at our discretion.
7. DMCA Compliance
WorshipTruth complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If a copyright holder files a valid DMCA takedown notice regarding your upload:
- The content will be promptly removed
- You will be notified of the removal
- You may file a counter-notification if you believe the takedown was in error
- Repeat infringers will have their upload privileges revoked
See our full DMCA Policy for details on the takedown and counter-notification process.

This license is limited to the operation of WorshipTruth. We will not sell your content or use it for purposes unrelated to our platform. You retain all other rights to your content.
9. Removal of Your Content
You may request removal of content you uploaded at any time by contacting us. We will remove the content within a reasonable timeframe. Note that:
- Public domain content cannot be "un-shared" as it belongs to everyone
- Creative Commons licensed content may have been shared by others under the same license
- We will remove your specific upload, but cannot control other copies
